Stress Relief Yoga

Bhramri


Step- 1
  1. Stretch your arms and legs.
  2. Sit in Sukhsan posture.
  3. Keep your spine straight.
  4. Pull both your arms up.
  5. Level your elbows to the shoulders.

Step- 2
  1. Close your right and left ear holes with right and left-hand thumb respectively.
  2. Place your index finger on your eyebrows.
  3. Close your eyes and rest other fingers on your eyes.
  4. Close your mouth.
  5. Take a deep breath from your nose.
  6. Now exhale the breath slowly with a humming sound from your nose only.
  7. It is the sound of Om but from your nose.

Step- 3
  1. Again take a deep breath slowly from your nose.
  2. Exhale the breath from your nose with the sound of Om.
  3. Your stresses are going less with every breath.
  4. Feel that your brain is relaxing and so is other parts of the body. Imagine a lit point at your third eye.
  5. Do it again. Do it for 5 to 9 occasions.
  6. Bring down your hands down and place those on knees or beside you.
  7. Rest for a while.
